"It was a great year..." they all start like this. This is not going to be another dry epistle that no-one gives a damn about. Here's my highlights of this year summed up in less than one minute:
- I had another birthday
- I've been married five years going on six to the love of my life
- Our daughter turned four
- My wife had another birthday
- Our daughter started riding her bike
Notable accomplishments:
- Quit my full time job to freelance as a web developer
- Completed a number noteworthy projects that landed me a good FT role as a web developer
- Career transition from auto service writer to web developer was made official
A few bonus highlights:
- Tried snowboarding for the first time
- Played golf for the first time
- Planted a garden
- Built a chicken coop
- Went to see Greta Van Fleet live in Charlotte with Priscilla (my wife)
- Read 13 books and my favorite was Socratic Selling: How to Ask The Questions that Get The Sale by Kevin Daley
...and that's a wrap.
